ETP tank cleaning or effluent treatment process describes the methods used for treating wastewater that is produced by industries as an undesirable by-product. The wastewater usually produced in the industries consistent of mostly effluents with stubborn chemicals and materials that are harmful to the environment. Regeneration of ion exchange columns with strong acids and alkalis produces a wastewater rich in hardness ions which are readily precipitated out, especially when in admixture with other wastewater constituents.
